I still cannot work out how someone like Sir Alan could be bluffed by Michael who, since the beginning, has been so obviously transparent every time he opened his mouth?  Sir Allan’s choice of a candidate who professes is ‘unscrupulous in business’ does not exactly shed a dignified light over those who achieve brilliant results by ethical means.  No need to explain which one of the two categories requires excellent vision and supremacy in business.  Having said that, Michael would be a brilliant Estate Agent !!!   Wink

did sas not give enough reasons as to why he picked him?

I know he was a tit on screen but he did have a lot of enthusiasm and he was willing to learn even though he was rubbish at listening and putting into action what he had been told.

Oh well Michael, you could have been great but you have disgraced yourself!

Following on from what Janet wrote;

The producers get sooo much control over whether someone looks good on these programs, Michael could have been making a considerable amount of good decisions but they were 'left out' as his bad decisions were comical. Shame that peoples opinions can be so easily swung by the decisions of the producers. Guess the only way to fix that would be to show the entire footage from the start of the task to the board room... although im a fan I dont think i'd watch that much!

but but but
on You're Fired Michael himself pretty much owned up that he is all-round useless, and that his forte was always going to be pulling the wool over SirAlan's eyes in the boardroom.  That kinda makes SirAlan look dim.  I believe SirAlan was finally tipped off by someone in production to stop making a fool of himself over this murky boy.  How else would you explain Helene staying in?  --  Btw, did you notice Michael couldn't sit up straight on You're Fired?

I had to go out before You're Fired was on air, which kinda sucked. How comes he couldnt sit up straight? He probably fell off a curb and injured himself Tongue Or was he just not showing respect for Sir Sugar? Infact I havent seen many of the You're Fired shows, are they getting better?

better?...not sure.  it helps relieve the post-boardroom tension.
plus i have a need to feed my regressive desire to sit on Uncle Adrian's knee.

sci, do you have internet at home?  you know you can watch the last week's bbc programs on their iplayer?  www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer.
