She began her working life as an admin assistant in insurance before spells as a recruitment consultant, performance analyst in telesales, and in I.T. related fields before moving to General Electric in 2000. Employed in a very masculine environment, single Helene is equally at home drinking wine with the girls and having a pint watching the rugby. She dislikes jealous women, bullying and incompetence, but believes she can triumph though her ability to be decisive, inclusive, and influential in the workplace.
