Alex currently works as a Regional Sales Manager with responsibility for a team of more than thirty sales agents at Sainsbury's Energy. He began his working life as a landscape gardener, before going to Texas for a year where he worked as a Loan Officer. Alex reckons that he could win The Apprentice because of his tenacity and communication skills, but admits he can sometimes be forgetful. He believes he works with integrity but admits he is angered by freeloaders and loafers. When he's not working he enjoys water sports including knee-boarding, and going to the gym. He's single but has a girlfriend.

"I expect people to obey clear instructions. If this doesn't happen I become annoyed."
