Katie - What a Nice Girl!
Well at last we really saw Katie as she really is – incredible, absolutely incredible!
She’s been looking like a spoilt little girl actress for some time now and last night she excelled herself.
She’s just a game player who wants to win at any cost, as far as I’m concerned.
Almost too late, Sir Alan realised, either fortunately or cleverly(?), and gave her the opportunity to think about what it would mean to be potentially selected as “The Apprentice”. He could see something was wrong and went on to state “There are three other people in this room and it would really, really annoy me if you took this opportunity away from them”.
At that point I’m pretty sure she thought - hmmm … I can get a bigger win situation out of this by saying I want to quit now. That was her only reason for quitting in my opinion; or she was worried she would eventually loose to one of the other finalists, and could not bear that thought.
She’s a quick thinker though, when she made the decision to quit she backed it up quickly by saying: “I don’t want to make a fool of you or me. I think it’s more important to get the courtesy to have my plans in place, so I’ll have to stand down.”
Well that was b*?!ocks if ever I heard anything!
Anyone who can put on their CV - as a positive point - that they are proud of stealing someone else’s partner has got to be a little strange in the head and at best not the nicest person around.
For those of you who did not see the BBC2 “Your Fired” bit after the main show, it was a joy to see all three of the panelists as well as the audience show her exactly what we all, the majority of people anyway, think of her.
I really wonder if she has a future working anywhere for anyone now? Oh dear what a shame!
One thing though, it has mainly been Tre and Katie who made the show a really great piece of entertainment. Hey maybe they will become the next Richard and Judy …. now there’s a thought!!!
At the beginning I thought Katie was a strong contender, and I quite liked her, in many ways she was the most capable and professional of a pretty poor bunch. However she shot herself in the foot by being such a manipulative Bitch. She gave women a really bad name. Her desparaging remarks about motherhood and stay at home mothers was the last straw for me. I hate to think what her children will grow up to be like. The hardest job for any woman is to bring up children and turn them into good human beings, it is physically and mentally draining ensuring that they are safe and well mannered and have plenty of things to occupy them, not the TV and computer games. I think for someone like Katie to put down the efforts of the professional mum is a disgrace to womankind. If she wanted a high flying career then maybe she ought to have though twice about having children and farming them off to someone else to raise.

Katie and Simon - are they real? One could be forgiven for thinking they are actors planted to spark up the programmes and provoke our reactions! I fail to see how Simon could have made it to the final.
As for Katie, telling people she has “done motherhood” - she has two daughters under four! I’ve been a mother of two for thirty-three years (and a working one for part of the time) and you know what, Katie? You ain’t seen nothing yet!!!

Katie’s tactic was so transparent I am stunned that noone has picked up on it. She wants a career in the media and has invented a persona that she feels will fit. The only essential was that she couldn’t be fired and she worked that a treat playing Sir Alan for a complete kipper as the ‘Alpha Female’. Once she’d achieved the final she had no further use for the programme or the job. She can walk out claiming to have chosen to leave. Her media facade is therefore complete and we will no doubt see her shortly popping up on some ‘Katie Ruthless says it as it is’ type show until we tire of a woman with not a single feminine charm in her body. In some ways I admire her for proving how shallow and calleous the world of ‘big business is’ she palyed a characture and Sir Alan couldn’t resist.

I agree with Perry, the whole thing rally seemed staged, and its like the authro of Apprentice Forum really believed what happened! It just doesn’t make sens to me I mean, surely, if she embarked in a 12-week program to be recruited by Sir Alan Sugar her parents could have worked out for themselves that yeah, she would have to move! I mean, I cant see how on earth she souldnt have had her plans made for the kids! Its beyond me. And the way Sir Alan conveniently told her and then maically guessed what was going on, I dunno, its just too strange to be believed like that…

What’s the difference between katie and measles? Some people haven’t had measles.

Seeing Katie on the Apprentice was an absolute dream! She was a quality piece of entertainment and was one of the main reasons tha I tuned in each week. Sure she is ruthless, and perhaps too much in many ways. I think she suffered in the saying of what we wouldn’t normally say. She was honest about herself and her ambition and for that I have a huge amount of respect for her. Her wit was amazing, and even if she had crafted this personality for a TV career then it’s just another show of her determination. I would love to have her come work for my company; I think she would be fantastic.

No one in their right mind would employ Katie except as an actress, courtesan or assassin, and for these professions she is admirably suited. One may easily imagine her dropping poison into your glass and smiling at you with those big blue eyes while you drank. The only correct response for any male targeted by her is to say, “Your nose is too big and hawk-like for my taste, madam. Besides, I don’t drink from public fountains.”

I admire Katie and it is so obvious that she can more than handle herself with this tide of critisism against her, at the end of the day do ANY of her actions really effect anyone elses life?? ( excusing the families of the married men she enticed as those men are the ones to blame as they were behaving badly knowing they had wives and children ) She has brought fantastic humour, brutal honesty and whole new side to the Apprentice.
She should be admired for raising her head above the parapet and going for what she believes in, it is all to often in this country that those who dare to be themselves are shot down and ruined and for what exactly? for daring to be different and being themselves !!
Go Katie, and I for one hope you remain in the public eye even if its only to annoy the people who dislike you.

I thought Katie was great entertainment. Can’t say I liked her that much but she made the series so much more interesting. The way she handled herself on the Adrian Childs show when faced with the aggresive scottish woman, was truly impressive. Hope we see more of her.

Well, I’m an OAP and think that Katie is fantastic. She’s clever, feisty, extremely attractive and a lot of fun. She was on “Richard and Judy” last night and said that she put the bit about the married man to make her CV stand out from the other 10,000 applicants. And it worked!! Anyway, in my opinion, there are lots of hypocrites out there. There are very few young attractive women who can say - hand on heart - that they’ve never been out with a married man. And what about the men?? It takes two to tango!! GOOD FOR YOU, KATIE AND VERY GOOD LUCK IN YOUR NEXT CAREER. I think the Met Office is also hypocritical, and you’re well shot of them!
